In 2013, Angkor Destination Travel began with a simple belief: "travel should create meaningful connections - not only between travelers and places, but also with the people and communities behind them."

For Sareth DUCH, the founder and managing director, becoming a business owner was never the original plan. His first ambition was simply to find a stable job, support his family, and build a better future for the next generation. But meeting travelers from around the world, his perception has changed. He saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between international visitors and the real Cambodia - its heritage, people, traditions, communities, and untold stories.

What began as a personal ambition soon became a greater purpose: to create authentic experiences while ensuring tourism brings lasting value to local communities. With courage and determination, Sareth established Angkor Destination and started as a small idea grew into a trusted Cambodian inbound tour operators, creating opportunities for local talents and helping young Cambodians build careers in tourism.

Yet, for the entire team, success has never been measured only by numbers. Through community support and education sponsorship, the company has helped young people from rural Cambodia pursue higher education and brighter futures.
